Diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer at 18

Brittney Beadle was just 18 when she discovered a lump in her breast. Initially dismissed as benign due to her age, the lump was later diagnosed as breast cancer. A week after her diagnosis, she underwent a double mastectomy on the day of her senior prom. Subsequent scans revealed the cancer had already spread to her bones and liver, marking it as stage IV metastatic breast cancer.

Despite the grim prognosis, Brittney chose to live with hope and purpose. She attended her high school graduation shortly after her first chemotherapy session, embodying resilience from the outset.

    Embracing Healing and Advocacy

Over the years, Brittney has undergone various treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapies. She has faced multiple recurrences, including brain metastases treated with Gamma Knife radiation.

Beyond medical treatments, Brittney has embraced holistic healing. As a certified Reiki practitioner, she integrates spiritual practices into her healing journey, emphasizing the importance of inner peace and self-care.

Her memoir, A Peace of Hope, offers an intimate look into her experiences, sharing insights on finding inner peace in the face of adversity.
