LuxCare exists for people whose bodies have changed, and for those who love them.
We design clothing for cancer patients, survivors, and thrivers who want to not only feel comfortable, but also beautiful and fully themselves. This is clothing designed for living.
LuxCare was created to fill a space traditional fashion never addressed. Garments that work with the realities of treatment while remaining beautiful, intentional, and wearable everywhere. These are pieces you fall in love with first, and come to rely on over time.
Why LuxCare Exists
When the body is changing or requires new accommodations, clothing should feel supportive and familiar. During cancer treatment, many people find that what they normally wear no longer works for their body or their daily life.
Most options fall into two extremes. Medically functional clothing that feels clinical and impersonal, or everyday pieces that aren’t designed for bodies navigating ports, scans, swelling, skin sensitivity, and fatigue.
Add to this, loved ones who want to give something meaningful. Something personal and comforting.
LuxCare was created to meet both needs. To design clothing that flatters and respects the body, while also offering gifts that quietly say, I see you. I care.

About the Founder
I’m Paloma Soledad, a fashion and costume designer with over two decades of experience, and a three-time Stage IV cancer thriver. Before founding LuxCare, my work spanned film, fashion, and editorial design, including costume design for the Academy Award–nominated film Coraline and recognition as Best Emerging Designer at Portland Fashion Week.
As a designer, I began creating what I couldn’t find when I needed it. LuxCare grew from that meeting point between design training and lived experience.
Each piece is shaped by years of hands-on work, close listening within survivor communities, and a belief that clothing can help restore confidence and continuity when life feels uncertain.
Why I Do This
Surviving cancer changed how I see the human experience. It brought me closer to the quiet vulnerability we all carry and how much small acts of care can matter.
Designing through illness taught me that clothing is not superficial. What we wear can steady us. It can help us feel like ourselves, even when the body or spaces we inhabit feel unfamiliar.
This work is how I honor that understanding, insisting on better choices, and creating the kind of care I believe we all deserve.

A Different Kind of Clothing
LuxCare designs “wellness fashion” for life shaped by cancer. Clothing created to move gently with the body and seamlessly into everyday life.
Each piece is designed to be worn beyond any single chapter. To dinner. To work. To treatment. On a walk. On a trip. To follow ups. The same garments that offer comfort in tender moments become part of the life you continue to live.
LuxCare pieces are made in small batches in the United States using OEKO-TEX certified fabrics chosen for skin sensitivity and long-term wear. They are carried by hospital boutiques and embraced by survivor communities, with partnerships that include The Breasties and the Melanoma Research Alliance.
Some people find LuxCare while looking for a thoughtful gift. Others come because their body has changed and their clothing needs to change with it.
