At LuxCare, material choices are never incidental. What touches the body matters, especially when skin is sensitive and tolerance is lower than usual.
Materials Chosen with Care
LuxCare fabrics are selected for softness, breathability, and skin sensitivity. Every material is chosen to feel gentle against the body and wearable over long periods of time.

Sun-Safe by Design
Many cancer treatments and medications increase sun sensitivity. LuxCare uses naturally sun-protective fabrics to help reduce everyday exposure.
Our Sun-Protective Fabrics
Many sun-protective garments rely on synthetic fibers or chemical treatments. LuxCare prioritizes naturally protective materials that are gentler on sensitive skin.
- Bamboo and sustainably produced cedar bark are naturally UPF-rated
- Protection comes from the fiber itself, not chemical coatings
- Sun protection does not wash out like topical treatments
Caring for Sun-Protective Fabrics
LuxCare garments are designed for daily life, not as a replacement for medical sun protection. Sunscreen and shade remain important parts of sun safety.
- Wash gently in cold water
- Avoid harsh detergents and fabric softeners
- Air drying recommended
- Normal wear and laundering may reduce UPF over time

Designed without snaps, wires, or hardware, allowing garments to be worn directly into scans while remaining comfortable and easy to wear throughout treatment and recovery.

How Its Made
Small-Batch, By Intention
LuxCare garments are made in limited runs, never mass-produced. Working in limited runs allows each piece to be developed with care, adjusted through wear and feedback, and finished thoughtfully. This slower pace keeps quality high and waste low.
Made in the United States
LuxCare garments are produced by hand in small quantities, locally in Pennsylvania. I work with a family-owned factory that has been operating for two generations, alongside experienced makers who have spent years honing their craft.
Keeping production close matters to me. I know who I’m supporting, and I value preserving the skills and care that thoughtful clothing requires. Manufacturing in the United States allows this work to remain personal, consistent, and rooted in real relationships.
